These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Blade's Burden (the "Game"), operated by BaladiDog Games LLC ("we", "us", "BaladiDog"). By downloading, accessing, or playing the Game, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not play.
You must be at least 13 years old to play Blade's Burden. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. By playing, you represent that you meet these requirements.
BaladiDog Games LLC grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to download and play Blade's Burden on devices you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial entertainment. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
Blade's Burden requires an account, created via Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google. You are responsible for the security of the Apple ID or Google account you use to play and for any activity on your Blade's Burden account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe are being used in violation of these Terms.
Blade's Burden is an online, asynchronous RPG. You create one or more characters, each bound to a specific world. Worlds have player-capacity limits and may be opened, merged, or retired at our discretion for operational or balancing reasons. Where reasonably possible, we will give notice in advance and migrate character data accordingly.
Blade's Burden uses multiple in-game currencies and items, including soul shards, obsidian dust, gold, spirit awakeners, guild coins, arena tickets, summoning banners' pity counters, equipment, Soulbound units, and cosmetics (collectively, "Virtual Items").
The Game includes summoning banners where Virtual Items (including Soulbound units of various rarities) are awarded through randomized draws at published rates. A pity system guarantees a minimum rate of higher-rarity outcomes after a set number of draws on a given banner.
You acknowledge that: (a) outcomes of any single summon are random and cannot be guaranteed, (b) published probabilities apply in aggregate over many summons, not to individual draws, and (c) no specific unit or item is guaranteed by any single purchase of soul shards.
You agree not to, and not to help others:
Violations may result in warnings, mutes, chat restrictions, character deletion, account termination, or permanent bans, at our sole discretion and without refund.
When you create a username, guild name, guild description, or chat message (together, "UGC"), you remain responsible for it but grant BaladiDog Games LLC a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, display, reproduce, and moderate that UGC for the purpose of operating the Game. We may remove UGC that violates these Terms at any time, with or without notice.
Chat messages are visible to other players and are automatically deleted from our servers after seven (7) days. Do not share anything in chat you would not want other players to see.
Blade's Burden is an evolving live service. We will patch bugs, add content, adjust unit stats and drop rates, rotate banners, reset seasonal arena rankings, and occasionally wipe or merge worlds. We do not guarantee any specific feature, event, banner, or balance will remain available. You acknowledge that this is part of the nature of the Game.
You may stop playing at any time and delete your character or account via the Delete Account page. We may suspend or terminate your account for any violation of these Terms, for extended inactivity, or if we discontinue the Game. On termination, your license to use the Game and any Virtual Items ends. See our Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.
Blade's Burden — including its code, art, music, characters, story, names, logos, and Soulbound unit designs — is the property of BaladiDog Games LLC and its licensors, protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may share gameplay screenshots and short video clips for personal, non-commercial fan use. Any other commercial use requires our prior written permission.
The Game is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted service. We do not warrant that the Game will be free of bugs, errors, lag, or data loss.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BaladiDog Games LLC and its officers, members, employees, and contractors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, goodwill, data, or Virtual Items, arising from or related to your use of the Game. Our total aggregate liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of (a) USD $50 or (b) the total amount you paid to us in the six (6) months before the claim arose. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, our liability is limited to the smallest extent permitted by law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State in which BaladiDog Games LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree to resolve any dispute individually (no class actions), first by contacting us in good faith at baladidoggames@gmail.com. If we cannot resolve it informally within 60 days, disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in that jurisdiction, except where applicable consumer-protection law provides otherwise.
We may update these Terms as the Game evolves. Any material change will be reflected by a new "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, announced in-game. If you do not agree with a change, your remedy is to stop playing and delete your account. Continued use after the change constitutes acceptance.
